Entertaining biography of the charismatic young Mexican-American songstress whose meteoric rise to stardom was cut short, at the age of twenty-three by the president of her fan club. Edward James Olmos is wonderful as Selena's father. Jennifer Lopez is outstanding in the title role. MPAA-Rated PG.
